The PUBG Mobile India edition, Battleground Mobile India, is currently available for pre-registration on the Google Play Store. This means that the Battle Royal game, the global version of which was banned last year, will finally arrive in India. It took nearly a year for Crafton to bring the game back, but after the announcement, things are moving fast around the launch. Now, an insider claims to have information about the Battleground Mobile India launch, which according to them will take place in the third week of June.
Abhijeet Andhare, popularized by Ghatak, tweeted that the release of Battleground Mobile India will take place in the third week of next month. We are looking at a time frame between June 13 and June 19. Ghatak is also the coach of Team Solomid and owns a YouTube channel where he promotes exports. However, according to IGN India, Team Solomid and the organization representing it did not show interest in commenting on Ghatak's tweet.
According to some reports, the launch of Battleground Mobile India may take place on 18 June, which corresponds to Ghatak's tweet. And it also makes sense because this date is exactly one month after the day when pre-registration was opened. But the general buzz in the PUBG mobile community is that the Indian version will arrive on 10 June. The basis for this speculation is a poster that Crafton posted a few days ago. This poster depicts the solar eclipse, and since the next solar eclipse is occurring on June 10, people are expected to know when the release will take place.
krafton has not yet made any announcement regarding the release, but be assured, both Android and iOS users will get the new Battleground Mobile India, even though the latter will have to wait for some time. The release seems imminent, but a letter by Arunachal Pradesh MP Ninong Ering exposing the rejection on the release of the Indian version of PUBG Mobile could bring problems. The MP wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, urging him not to allow sports in India.
Now, the Government of India, along with its two ministries, which actually look after such matters: the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, do not allow or deny the Games to be released. But they can ban an entity for violating the laws - which happened last year with PUBG Mobile. Therefore, there is no argument as to whether the government will allow the app or not, but yes, it can ban it if it finds Battleground Mobile India in violation of the rules.
