How to make youtube channel art

YouTube channel art is essentially a Facebook cover photo version of YouTube. Channel art occupies a prominent position on your YouTube channel, meaning that it is absolutely important for any YouTube channel to use customized art to share about their personality or their brand with their audience.

Gary is known for his public speeches at conferences and for sharing everything he knows about marketing and business building with his audience. This is reflected in his cover photo, which features Gary in mid-stream giving a performance. Channel Art also serves as a promotional tool for The Gary V Video Experience and strengthens the synergy of new videos from Monday to Friday.

Here are some other examples for inspiration:

Cut uses his channel art to advocate Black Lives Matter.

Khan Academy uses its channel art to reinforce its brand, cites its tagline and features some fun characters and brand designs.

Okay, now you have some options in your mind as to what your channel art can be, here is what you need to know to create your optimal YouTube channel art…

The right size for YouTube channel art

The best place to start with your channel art is an optimal image size that works on multiple devices. For best results, YouTube recommends uploading a 2560 x 1440 pixel image.

Minimum width: 2048 X 1152 pixels. This is the "safe zone", where text and logos are guaranteed not to be truncated when displayed on various devices.

Maximum width: 2540 x 623 pixels. This means that the "safe zone" is always visible; The areas on each side of the channel art are visible, depending on the browser size of the viewer.

File size: 6MB or smaller recommended.

It's interesting to note that YouTube is available on a ton of different devices - from as small as an iPhone to as large as a 60-inch TV. On TV, channel art appears in the background behind the content of your YouTube channel. On desktop and mobile devices, it appears as a banner at the top.
